Hi there, welcome to the Saturday handicap competition. I’ll just go through the rules
1 If you want to enter then just put your selections down on this thread.
2 You must select 2 different horses, one win and one each way, before the race time.
3 It’s up to you, but you can have as many substitutes as you like. Remember these only come into play if you have any non runners. They will be used in the order written.
4 You can alter your selection(s) if you wish, so long as the race has not ran. I will only use your last lot of selections.
5 For the Each Way part all places will be at quarter the odds, regardless what the bookies do.
6 Number of places are as follows
Handicaps of up to 20 runners, will be normal number of places.
Handicaps of 21 to 24 runners 5 places
Handicaps of 25 to 28 runners 6 places
Handicaps of 29+ runners 7 placesShould the be any late non runners which reduce the number of places, ie 21 runners reduce to 20 runners I will still count the higher number of places.
Late non runners will be anything down in the morning papers which don’t run.
7 The win selection will have 50 points on it.
The Each Way selection will have 25 points (EW) on it.A total of 100 points stake for both selections, or 50 points for one.
A free forecast will be awarded to those who get first and second.
All winnings include their stakes returned.

Next 2 weeks I will be flying out on holiday on Saturday and returning the following Saturday. Will set up the 2 Saturday handicaps in a double bill. Graham (Bigg) will be in charge for the 2 Saturdays. I of course will be scoring both Saturdays on my return.
No idea yet on the race on 17th June, but intend the 24th to be the Wokingham Stakes
