JOHN GOOCH got the winner and runner up, just the wrong way round, but still gets the bonus forecast points for his effort.

VENTURE TO COGNAC had runners in the reserve race, my fault. This race replaced the all weather race as first reserve, because Cheltenham had an element of doubt. However glad it took part as this race with more runners and on the tissue prices on night before looked really open.
