With Neil being away sunning himself I said I would mark up the
winning horses and who was on them. Neil will give the scores when
he gets back. I was going to do the 2nd week but as Neil was offski
before marking York I have included that.

York with 17 runners, 4 places

    1st James’s Delight 6/1

    2nd Almarada Prince 16/1

    3rd Elmonjed 4/1

    4th Media Shooter

No less than 5 happy punters picked the winner….Yahoo, Wyldesyde, Quelle Farce,
isinglass and BigG. Chivers also had James’s Delight but as his e/w pick.

Nobody had the 2nd Almarada Prince.

Unfortunately there were 4, mike2084, robmorth, Nathan, greenasgrass and dfward
who had the 3rd, Elmonjed, as their win bet.
That was hard luck guys. John Gooch was the only one who had Elmonjed down for a
place at 4/1. Well done John :good:

Unsuprisingly there were no takers for the 66/1 4th place Media Shooter

Ascot With 27 runners the first 6 all come into play.

    1st Unequal Love 12/1

    2nd Dark Trooper 4/1

    3rd Orazio 16/1

    4th Lethal Levi 28/1

    5th Glenfinnan 22/1

    6th Vafortino 28/1

Two got the 12/1 winner right, Yahoo and greenasgrass. Very well done the
pair of you and Jac (Triptych) managed to have him placed :good:

Wyldesyde and Isenglass were unlucky as thet had the 2nd, Dark Trooper,
down as their win bet. Very bad luck guys. Nobody had him down for their
    place bet.

The 3rd place horse Orazio (16/1) had BigG as the sole place bet.

Wyldesyde was a bit luckier than their lost win bet having Lethal Levi
down as their place bet. A nice 28/1 place save :good:

Rob North, Isenglass, Euroalien and Refuse To Bend all had Glenfinnan as
their place bet, a very decent place at 22/1. Myself (BigG) and Illavim
were the losers in this one having picked him as the winner.

The final place shot, Vafortino, wasn’t picked by anyone for a place and it
was Quelle Farce the unlucky one this time having picked him for the win.

As I said before, Neil will do the scoring when he gets back. If I’ve missed
anyone please give me a shout :good:

Thanks BigG, some much needed sunshine after what seems nearly a year of atrocious weather, but that’s just my opinion. Didn’t see any racing as where I’d stayed could only pick up BBC1 and Channel 4 of the british broadcasts.

Thanks for filling in the places Graham, but because by my count the was 29 runners in the Wokingham Stakes (25 actually ran, plus 4 non runners) I’m counting 7th place Rocket Rodney at 66/1 in my calculations.

Because I’ve 2 weeks scoring to do, going to miss those honorable mentions, sorry about that, as I like to point these out, especially the big prices.

    Scores will follow… :good:

    ADDITION NOTES

Venture To Cognac missed the first week and Quelle Farce had only 1 runner, which was the winner.
