Not my usual type of Antepost race this, and she should certainly have other options, but been impressed by Jetara on her last two runs, so talked myself into taking the 14’s. If she does run, I think
she should at least make the frame

Rats, I messed about while Paddys had Dancing City at 40s and now I see they have cut him to 25s. Oh well, I took that, and backed him for the Albert Bartlett at 50s too.
Wish I had a Skybet account for the 66s for this though, I’d take their hand off for it.

I really liked the look of his last run. He was pushed along to quicken and hang on the leaders’ coattails before the second last, Danny M stopped riding for a few strides to let him pop the last, then got after him again and he picked up well again to win. It wasn’t a strongly run race but I think he had plenty left- he certainly didn’t have his head round his knees afterwards.

Gag, that’s a shame that you missed the odds there, but I still think that you’ve got a bet there. I’m being hesitant with my ap bets just now, but I’ve joined you at 25-1.

“Gag, that’s a shame that you missed the odds there,”

Don’t worry, I put him in a 1400-1 ew double with Jit Langy to ease the pain a bit. (But it’s only 2 places for the first race so he’d better be good).

I’m betting Dancing City as well. He is around 20-1 just now on the racing post site + I think that is a big price, but I don’t know if that is the old price or not

I’ll also have a small ew bet on Dancing City, as he does look a little bit overpriced

Surprisingly only 6 declared for this:

    Predators Gold
    Stellar Story
    Dancing City
    I Will Be Baie
    Loughlynn
    Jetara

I think the small field will suit a speed horse. Predators Gold had a gruelling race last time so Loughlynn would be the one for me but I will just sit back and enjoy without a bet, most likely.

Stellar story @19s for a small bet, fascinating prices in this, have to be laying the fav at this price, not sure why dancing city is the outsider either..

Cant remember such an interesting time backing/laying during a race, within 2 minutes dancing city was out to 60-80s and the fav was into 1.6 for absolutely no reason whatsoever (fwiw i never backed DC at the above mentioned prices) but the fav was still being backed as if defeat was out of the question

Lovely shout for that winner, Greenasgrass!

Quickly shortened in price for AB and I think they’ll cut him again over the weekend
