    Fontwell abandoned yesterday

    Gaelic Warrior day…

Interesting but poor contest at Kempton. Timewave takes a huge step up in distance. The pedigree would indicate this will be a help on both the sire and dam side of things. The pedigree also suggests improvement from 2 to 3 years old. Receiving nearly a stone from the fav who is also taking a big step up in trip but the pedigree doesn’t scream 12f to me.

Timewave sp 3/1 returned 4 pts

I had two possibles at Plumpton abandoned and one non runner at Dundalk so I’ve gone for the three runner contest at Southwell. Serial losers race.. Ray Of Colours looks the value having only run the 3 times and his best effort being last time out over course and distance. With his sire being Ribchester he can improve with racing. Maybe able to get an easy lead and have first run at the finishing post

I want to take the fav Dinoo on in the penultimate at Kempton. He looks short enough in price at his first try at the trip 12f. The last two races over 10f he finished a very close second but the last of those was off a slow pace.
Mille Miglia has been consistent over this sort of trip if you ignore the Newbury run on soft and won C&D two starts ago. Shes the one I’m going with although there are plenty of others. If this was a laying thread I’d have layed the fav last night at around 1/1, has slightly drifted this morning but plenty of time until the off.

Quick return after getting touched off by Kraken Power. Has escaped any rise in the weights and isn’t carrying alot here. Last two runs have been much better and if continuing on that path should be right in the mix. Draw could have been better.

You got a good price there PP only gave me 13/8 last night but I have a feeling he will start odds on..
    Good luck :good: Jac

Nellie French has just hosed up at Southwell 6/1 Nathan. Highlighted by Sam on the Kraken Power Thread.. :good: but sadly he didn’t back her.
A great shout and positive vibes for MM later. I did back her as this trend seems to be developing nicely.
All thanks to Sam for that winner.

A shame the run had to come to an end. Missing the break was always going to be up against if over 5f with no time to recover.

My Trump Card was easily dispatched by Grangeclare West on debut at this course but Grangeclare West had already won two previous races before being a disappointing in a grade 1 next time out. Didn’t look to run his race. My Trump Card trained by Elliot has the potential to improve. The fav is a Mullins new comer so may need the run

Modular Magic jumped off all wrong and lost his momentum, you don’t get away with that in such a short race…he’ll be better mext time. :good: Jac

    Yesterday was a non runner

I like the Mullins horse but he is stepping up in trip against a decent horse in Fakir D’Oudairies who is best at the distance.

Wadacre Grace will be the pick tomorrow if I can get better than the current 11/10. Was well backed into favourite last race but was runner up again after a previous runner up effort in a race won by Morgan Fairy who is useful enough. Small field so could either lead or sit behind Luckyboylovelywife. Fine Balance looks like the step up will help her and is the danger

Doctor Bravo ran into a decent looking sort of Mullins in Dark Raven LTO

Emily Roebling wasn’t far behind my selection Hauturiere LTO but the difference was Emily had run twice previous whilst this was Hauturiere first run back after a while out. She is entitled to improve from that. The winner of that race was well beaten in a grade 2 back in 3rd but showed she was in good form going into it

Thanks Sam.. Plenty of losers will be up coming so nice to get a few winners in early… :good:

This horse has hit a purple patch since the turn of the year.. hit the post the last twice at Southwell over 7f but back at home today at Newcastle over 6f. 5/13 over C&D including this race last year. I’d have preferred Connor Beasley riding as he seems to have struck up a bit of a partnership with the horse this month. Today’s jockey takes 3lbs off

I’m out early tomorrow and won’t be back until the late afternoon so sticking this up now
Zambella has a very good record at this distance and was 4th in a hot race at lasts years festival. Current form is good too. The Williams horse won this race last year but that was against horses not up to this years standard by the looks of it. Jeremys Flame has good form but hasn’t won at this distance, that could change as has won above and below the distance so its possibly only a matter of time. Found On and Royale Margaux should find this tougher than previous assignments. Tweed Skirt has won the last twice but again this is another step up in level. Looks an interesting race but Zambella’s experience and record at the distance puts her clear for me.
