If Kargese does win at the DRF against Romeo is it a straightforward decision for Paul Townend? I cant see her staying the mares chase trip so presumably this is her only option. Not talking about ability here but preparation. One run before a grade 1 festival novice chase is not ideal at all

For all his form claims it’s hard not to think that Romeo Coolio will be vulnerable kept to two miles at Cheltenham; none of his chasing wins have been in races run faster than four minutes seven seconds and a typical Arkle, a race his trainer has yet to win (0-7), takes around 14 seconds less than that.
As much as it’s a race I try to avoid, as I’ll routinely have little interest in it, I still manage to stumble into a bet.
Went with Kappa Jy Pyke, who’s fair looking price. I’d rather he went Browm Adviory, but had a go. Liked his last run a lot

The vibes coming out of clossuton are enough to sooth any fears over kopek’s lack of experience.
Whilst i think lulamba is a fantastic horse, he’d be in the 2 and a half miler if it was still a grade 1.
Kopek has the more natural 2 mile speed.
Think I will wait till tuesday and hope Steel Ally drifts a bit. Maybe he can pick up the pieces with his quick jumping.

I can’t see by the front 2 in the market , short priced forecast and I’ve doubled the Henderson in the first 2 races , hopefully they go to war up the hill

I expect one of the top two to take it (I’d side with Lulamba) but for a bit of each way fun in case one or both of them bomb out I’ll have a small go on Jax Junior.
Not having a bet in this one.
I think Kopek is the most talented 2 miler in the race but Lulamba has had a perfect season in preparation. If Lulamba can get to the top of the hill mistake free, I think he’ll go on to win it.
Like Shishkin, I don’t think he’s a natural 2 miler though.Got a double on Kopek and Lossie but I have to have a little bit on Kargese too, I love her.
Jax Junior 33/1 EW. I know he has no realistic chance, but the ground seems rather fast and it clearly suits him.
Added Kargese at 7/1 WIN, but it’s just a race to watch and savour. With the ground riding on the fast side, I wonder whose jumping ability will be more exposed than expected.
