Nap – Every banker is far too short now to put up. I’m not keen on the NRNB market as it kills the price dead. If pushed I’d go Embassy Gardens 5/2 current best price in the NH Chase. Looks the class act and Corbetts Cross has disappointed so far

Lay – Stay away Fay in the Browns currently 7/2 best price. I think Fact to File will run here. Grey Dawning and Monty’s Star also should be higher in the market ahead of Stay away Fay

Each Way – Monty’s Star in the above race would be an option but Paisley Park at 16’s isn’t bad either. Rarely runs a bad race

    Nap
    Teahupoo stayers 3/1

Should be defending champ and is a year older and goes there fresher

    Lay
    Marine nationale

Way too short after last time, poor race but has massive question marks

    E/W
    Langer Dan Coral cup 8/1

Hard to see him not going close

Teahupoo could look even stronger if Irish Point gets rerouted FF

All the rain we’ve had all but guarantees there will be enough cut in the ground for him too

Nap: I have got to say BANBRIDGE in the Ryanair if he runs. I think he is the rising star in this division.

Lay: FACT TO FILE in the Brown Advisory. He could make me look foolish but he won a one horse race last time and is stepping up in distance against some strong stayers. He looks priced up on reputation rather than form.

Each way: MIGHT I in the Coral Cup. He has dropped to a favourable mark.

I like Fact to File CAS, I have my eye on him as a potential Gold Cup contender for next year. I see betfair sportsbook have a market up for that and he is priced at 7’s which is way tooo short at this stage. I think he’ll win the Browns but agree that the price is short enough to leave

Nap – Coko Beach, Cross Country
It really goes against the grain not putting up Galvin, but Coko my definite nap. Love him, thought he took to it really well, and he got some lofty entries this season. Will love conditions. Took 8’s

    Lay – Dinoblue, Mares Chase
I actually really like her, but I think that Limerick Lace, and a couple of others could make this tougher than the market suggests

    Lord Du Mesnil – Ultima
Wanted to put Samui, but he has three entries, and could feasibly get in any of those races. Went with Lord Du Mesnil, as he seems to retain enough ability to make the frame here. I’ve always liked him. 40’s available to six places, but hopefully Skybet will go seven

Nap & EW – WHITE RHINO in the Pertemps, but he needs four to come out tomorrow. Hopefully, he’s not kept out by social runners. Nasty blow if that happens.

Lay – Not a type of betting I do, but ITS ON THE LINE. He just looks too slow to have any great confidence about.

Nap is L’eau Du Sud in the county. Skelton has a great record in this and I loved his body language when discussing him the other day

Lay is Grey Dawning in the Turners. I hope I get the Skelton angle right

My ew is Palamon in the boodles. There was one run that really caught my eye. 22-1 is lovely

Nap State Man , he just won’t get beat

Lay Gaelic Warrior , you couldn’t back him after last time , plus he has still to perform at Cheltenham

E.W Corach Gambler , hes one or my main bets of the week and I just cannot see him not being placed , no horse will get up the hill better
