    Ok Jack I’ll rephrase it.

He’s beaten nothing of any note over 3m+ to make me think he’s worth backing over 3m 2f at Cheltenham against top level opposition.

He did beat stattler by 13 lengths over 3 miles

That’s true he did. But is that form worth a great deal 2 years down the road and considering Stattler was turned over by Minella Indo on New Year’s Day.

The point I’m making is that he’s not ran in any of the races that would mark him out as strong favourite for winning the GC. If you want to be kind you’d say he fiddled his way over the fences on seasons debut. I’d personally feel that he made enough of a hash of a couple of fences to tell me that he won’t be able to do that in the GC and still be in with a chance of winning after the last.

Nap. I’ll go for Teahupoo here at 10-1 for Stayers Hurdle

Lay. Scarlet and Dove in The Mares Chase at 6-1, but only because I think that the first two in the betting will be very tough to beat.

each way. Dusart at 20-1 in The Ultima

Nap: Gaillard Du Mesnil, BANC. Looks a very weak division this year and he has experience advantage – 8/1.

Lay: Mighty Potter, Turners. Ran a shocker at Cheltenham last year and I just don’t think he’s as good as many are saying. 7/2f

E/W: Oscar Elite in the Ultima. Festival form and a good 3rd in the race last year. 33/1

Nap: Maries Rock – The Stayers shouldn’t take a lot of winning and she’ll be getting 7lbs off an average lot.

Lay: Energumene – Race fell apart last year and has flattered to deceive all his career. Won’t get within 5 lengths of the winner.

EW: Noble Yeats – He’ll be off the bridle going down the hill, but will be staying on best of all going up it.

Peter, Marie’s Rock is running in the mares!

I’m sending Derren Brown to seven barrows on the daily to make sure Nicky gets the picture!

Chezza’s just decided that TC is actually a living legend – in fact, TC is almost as hilarious as Chezza himself.

It’s like something actually getting within a length of Arkle – Chezza never thought Chezza would ever see the day.

    That’s all – carry on.

Awfully kind of you to say so Ian.

However the bar was set at an awfully low standard :yahoo:
