    Name the racecourse – I have no idea, I did see online that the video may have featured on a Dutch TV music programme BUT that’s no guarantee t is in Holland.

    The “Resultats” and “Pari Mutuel” shots in the video would suggest that it’s in France, but I have no idea what racecourse it is.

    It could be Groenendaal in Belgium, the opening racecourse shots look like the Royal Lodge there.

    Robnorth – You nailed it. It is Groenendaal. Been there many times when I lived in Belgium.

    Yes, it was the Royal Lodge that was the big clue. The old stands were demolished in 1985 and replaced with modern ones, but the course closed sometime in the early 2000s with those stands demolished in 2011 leaving only a refurbished Royal Lodge.

    I enjoy the detective work required for this sort of thread! I got the date of the Brighton meeting from looking at the horse names on the bookmakers’ boards and checking them on the RP database.
