He sounds like a bit of a hustler Joanne…..

A few clues for the Cricketers…

    1. Played for Somerset, Surrey and Devon. Shares his name with a former West Indian bowler.

    2. A winning member of the Somerset 2005 20/20 team plays now for Nottingham I think.

    3. Former Somerset now with Worcester his surname is the same as TRF’s Worcester CCC’s biggest fan’s 1st name.

    hope this helps…. :?

    3 is probably Gareth Andrew.

Less sure about the other two, though. Might number 1 be Greg Kennis? I think he played (moderately) for both counties mentioned about a decade ago.

Yes you’re right about Number 3 being Gareth Andrew. Greg Kennis is a blast from the past but incorrect….

    1. The die-hard Somerset and Surrey fans would have difficulties remembering this one as he only played the 7 1st class matches taking 7 wickets and 18 one-day matches taking 18 wickets between the two clubs. I know him well as I played Cricket with his brother for Staplegrove youth side and he use to bowl at us in the nets. Also I went to a one-day game at Guilford between the two sides and the unnamed player in the Surrey side got Jamie Cox out for 1. I remember the match well because Somerset won with two 6’s right at the end from of all people Andy Caddick… :D

Still think the best clue for this guy is he shares his named with a former West Indian fast bowler.

    2. Opening batsmen who has played over 100 1st class matches, was appointed Somerset vice captain in 2005 when Graeme Smith left the club. Joined Notts in 2007 and think he is still there although don’t think he played much for them last season.

All the above share something in common along with one other missing jockey. Name all the above , the missing jockey and the link. One of the above also holds on his own a record within the above link.
