his explanation on his ride for Mastercraftsman was unconvincing and I just think the camp were happy Golden Sword had his day of glory and they Aiden O Brian still filled the first two places.
The Frozen Fire race was a complete joke and they were all to blame for that except maybe the youngest who finally took the intative.
Johnny Murtagh should have known better.
May 8, 2009 at 22:13 #226417Two consecutive posts from Swansea. I smell a conspiracy or else it’s that Welsh air.
May 8, 2009 at 23:09 #226424Whereas last year you probably backed him blind and made a mint? You can’t have it both ways, jockeys make mistakes.
May 8, 2009 at 23:42 #226429Do you call everyone you are a "big fan of" an absolute *******disgrace. Are you still a big fan or just a poorer one?

May 9, 2009 at 00:27 #226438Your brother? Well, why didn’t you just turn to him and tell him what you were thinking about Murt?
Only jesting. Welcome to the forum, the Swan Bros., I’ve never been to Swansea. Is it a seaside resort?
Cheers
KenMay 9, 2009 at 00:48 #226441Perfect Truth – perfect ride
Masterofthehorse – best horse won, all those who engaged winner earlier were well beaten. .
Drumbeat – race bit of a scrum, horse bit of a dog
Frozen Fire – poor ride, should have gone on…he may have been ****ing himself by this stage

Interesting take on the race Shabby! you are quite right about those engaging the winner being fairly beaten, unfortunately Masterofthehorse
was never asked to engage in anything until the winner had a 10l lead on him with a furlong and a half to run!May 9, 2009 at 10:56 #226462Your brother? Well, why didn’t you just turn to him and tell him what you were thinking about Murt?

KenYeah the city by the sea

they opening a new jumps racecourse not far from Swansea soon – and its been anticpated all the Irish are going to bring their horses to run at the course which would be the nearest racecourse to Ireland just over the sea.
May 9, 2009 at 12:06 #226466…And the really good news is that At The Races will be providing live race coverage with some of the best presenters in the business!
It’ll be fun trying to get a quick handle on any track biases in order to plunge on, before the majority get wise. - AuthorPosts
