What happened after a seven year gap,rab why have you restarted has it kept winning or losing,or just forgotten about.

Sometimes it can be fun to raid the archives and find an oldie which can suit your style and Kaiser‘s post inclined me to read what the system was all about way back then and I posted at the time I was not a Mirror taker but I have gone back to it’s racing pages.

Does racing change given a few years? I am not sure if I feel qualified to offer an opinion, sometimes changes occur without anyone taking notice but the theory behind this idea is not dissimilar to an idea I was chasing down in recent times.

During a dry spell when frequenting a now defunct forum I was offered a system thought by the giver as one which could get me out of the betting doldrums. Sadly I did not pay enough attention and allowed it to slip from my mind as sand in an egg timer.

The gist was to reference the Mirror’s SF (and maybe the F as well) with the betting forecast and follow those at 11/2 or greater. Could that have been only the forecast price or the live market?

Sometimes when considering systems we follow the golden rules as if set in stone but perhaps if we bring our own ideas into play any old system can be updated without too much of a fuss.

This sytem chases the big win and I am not in that group any more but that can be a topic for another day however having been recently converted to the slow but sure betting for a place my interest is growing.

I have refined this idea to suit my present style of betting.

I am remaining true to the declared number of runners 8, 9 or 10.

All my selections are running within 90 days.

I avoid riders with a 3lb, 5lb or 7lb weight claim and also swerve the ladies (riders that is) plus the amatuers

My prices will be within the range of 1/1 to 9/4 for a Top 3 finish.

The above reduces the numbers dramatically.

I just forgot about the system after a while but after reading some

Starting with a losing run of just the 1. Although I cannot get a suitable price about either of the 2 selections it is a blank day and suspect it is just one of what could be many.

However I do agree with rab123 and MONACO ROSE being the 5/1 2fv but falls short at 10/11 for a T3 finish.

GREAT FIGHTER 8.10 Musselburgh is the second selection being 11/4 fv and 4/7 T3 simply is not enough.

Between us we have found 3 live ones and after all the system is all about MULTIPLES.
