Jack which horse in the ankle has the best form over fences , you may believe the Mullins horse but there,s doubt there , why was he 5s last time out , he s also a scruffy jumper , we’ll need to agree to disagree but we’ll know in 3 weeks …

What’s the doubt there? His price last time is pretty irrelevant to that point as he won + won well. Jonbon showed some jumping frailties in an egg n spoon race. El Fab made his errors in a feriociously run race, and still won with ease. The errors on his 2nd start show he can deal with that, Jonbon? Another doubt. I have Jonbon backed, but from their runs throughout this season it’s clear who has the better chance 3 weeks out….

I read Nicky’s comments about Luccia and his other novice hurdlers – that he’d prefer Luccia to run in the Mares Novice but he doesn’t have anything else for the Supreme, as he other novices have not as progressive as previous seasons

Firstly, I’d prefer to see Luccia in the Supreme but can see why they’re targeting the apparently easier option. The stable could have won it with Amaretto Rose years ago but for being hampered before the straight

Secondly, you have to race horses in competitive races for them to progress into Festival contenders and Henderson just hasn’t don’t that this season
British racing has several issues from which the Irish are benefitting but the bigger yards over here should be daring better than a couple of each way chances in the novice Grade 1s

Is it too harsh to say some of them want a handicap mark for the horse’s second season, rather than seeing if they have Grade 1 horses ?

” He’s a chaser in the making ” seems to be the go-to phrase

Huurdles/fences , Jonbon is the more natural jumper , why didn’t the Mullins horse to to Cheltenham last year , thats a question he has to answer , will he deal with Cheltenham ….. again not clear

Befair, yeah but no one breeds a champion hurdler and all… but aside from that, there the only 3 that really matter, the rest are just crowd pleasers

Not every NH horse is bred with the purpose of being a Gold Cup horse

    Mick Fitz loves that platitude
