Hey guys, I’m very pleased to announce that I have been given the boot by one of our competitors. It does ones heart a power of good to know that at 60+ I can still mix it with the best of ’em. This is the first time I’ve ever got the sack, I feel like a football team manager, truly awesome….. mind you, I still can’t fathom out how a soft spoken and always gentle so and so like myself, can urge others to irritation, perhaps I’m too soft in my old age and then again perhaps those of other forums are far too peurile…. this is still the best site on the net, but don’t get upset if I call you funny names, I wouldn’t want your dummies falling out too…. hehehehe……. I feel really wonderful, like I’ve just lost my virginity again…. and the strange thing was that the other site never laffed, now that is sad……..

    Congratulations Mr E.

I for one always enjoy a chuckle at your posts and your educational posts on staking plans have proven invaluable.

Long may you stay around this particular ward.

                                 HEADLINES

Male nurse with sense of humour permanantly suspended without pay.

A portly 60+ male nurse has been suspended for failing in his duties. A hospital spokesman stated that this was not a case of a miscarraige of justice taking place as the nurse in question was upsetting the people he was trying to help.

The Matron also stated that on a number of previous occassions this particular nurse had been warned of misconduct of a similar nature, and in a private statement stated that "I am glad to see the back of him", but then I am always pleased to see the back of any male!!
Mr.E. sacked, surely you must mean redundant? with another job here.

    Not guilty!

It was my twin brother that sacked MrE for his misconduct at another hospital.

MrE will now be employed exclusively at the new state of the art "TRF PUBA" hospital to administer to the needs of the patients. (In other words he will running the bar. )

    Regards – Matron

Well done MrE! These young whippersnappers on other sites think only their view is worth hearing and that any alternative view must be shouted down. They must be poor debaters indeed if there only recourse was to boot you off.

Thanks guys, that warms the cockles of my heart…. the amazing thing was that I never said a word outa place, you know that don’t you….. hahahaha……. what was surprising was that I had only had 6 posts, I’ve had over 800 on here and never said anything that could upset anybody cos I’m a pussy cat, so fancy getting the boot after only 6…. hehehehe…. I claim a record, nobody else has managed this I’ll wager…… I bet it was Urby in disguise cos I caught him and Matron in the office. Matron was whispering in Urby’s ear, I didn’t think much of it at the time but on reflection I think he was whispering in Urby’s Rear….. hahahaha……… ah well, Matron said he’d bend over backwards to accomodate me…… mmmmmm…… there’s no answer to that…….

    Snow.

As far as can be ascertained Mr.E told them that Santa does not really exist.;)

I think that Matron has something to do with this as he was the one who gave Mr.E that bloody truth drug to find out if he had absconded for a few hours on Saturday night.:o
He was probably mumbling about "medication, hospital corridors, rolling doubles, Urby, I love you" – frightened them to bits poor souls.

Jeeeez Snowflake, I’m afraid that I’ve gotta call you to order over that. There’s strict instructions from Matron not to make sounds of that nature….. cos Old Urby will be around trying to give it doggie fashion to all and sundry. Your possibly too young to remember, but Urby’s previous "handle" used to be Rover. Matron had to prescribe Bromide to replace the Bob Martins… mmmmmm…. yes, very dangerous to walk around shouting doggie noises, Urbs thinks its a wolf whistle and your gonna end up with the dirty little urchin hugging your leg……

Even worse – he could end up being your "lap dog".

Might have to increase the medication soon; it must be the Christmas excitement as we have just put up the decorations early around the wards to cover the bad paintwork.

    Regards – Matron
