Formerly decent horse of Mark Johnston who is now with Paul Nicholls.
Has had 3 runs over hurdles and shown promise on all starts.
Now qualified for handicaps and should be worth following.
December 17, 2004 at 07:40 #85406Lou Carvey said exactly the same thing on ATR this afternoon.
Colin
January 21, 2005 at 23:49 #85407Hcap debut tomorrow at Wincanton, should take a bit of beating.
January 22, 2005 at 16:19 #85408Pulled up,very disappointing.
February 16, 2005 at 11:21 #85409In hindsight maybe he didn’t get home at Wincanton, drops back in trip tomorrow at Taunton.
You couldn’t be confident about winning although the better ground should help.
February 16, 2005 at 13:10 #85410To be honest I just think he’s had it. Like a lot of Mark Johnston’s, he has lost his form badly and I think it will be a while before he recovers anything like his best form. Watch him scoot up tomorrow….
February 17, 2005 at 16:18 #85412Travelled well but stopped almost immediately once asked a question, clearly something is amiss with the horse.
February 21, 2005 at 16:11 #85413He’s a bit of a dodgepot, but he wants better ground than he’s got so far.
I wouldn’t write him off totally as yet.
April 7, 2005 at 14:37 #85417Very unimpressed with his attitude today at Taunton, think we can scrub him off the list.
May 12, 2005 at 16:01 #85418Won an appalling seller at Hereford on Tuesday and was subsequently sold for 14,500 guineas to Nick Shutts.
Unlikely to prove a bargain.
