Looking at the going report it was listed as Good (Good to Firm in places; Watered) and had a reading of 8.0.

There were double digits fields for all but one of the seven race card and while there were a few non runners (four) they were all either due to a Self Certificate or in one case, a Vet’s Certificate – i.e. non were down to the ground being viewed as ‘unsuitable’by connections. That being said, I am not sure how they will be able to explain this rare happening away as not being a ground related issue.
