Didn’t see the program but I reckon that if convicted today, they wouldn’t get life. Too many bleeding heart liberals IMO.
Agree with EC & DB. Two evil b’st’ds. Should have been told they would get 5 years very hard labour AND THEN EXECUTED.
If it happened today, Hindley would get community service and Brady would get life but and get let out after 5 years.
Unless they were foriegners and then they would just let them off.<br>

My Dad was the only teacher at the school who didn’t sell a story to the Sunday papers during the trial.
Whereas her English teacher actually wrote some weird surreal essays and passed them off as her work my Dad simply said: “I taught a lot of children, there can’t have been anything remarkable about her as I don’t even remember her.”

There is a pub named the Cross Keys in Chester which has a bench from the old Chester Assizes inside. The pub advises customers it is your chance to sit on the same bench as Brady and Hindley. Charming. Who would want to miss a chance like that?
