Does anybody have any experience of owning a share of a horse with these people ?

Grateful for any comments of experiences or knowledge.

    Thanks in advance.

Hi, i had a share in a lovely filly owned by them few years ago. I found them reasonably priced but i’d not recommend them. Not once did we feel like an owner which have felt like with other syndicates, no information regarding the horse was readily given and when there is it is usually put on their website in couple of sentences for the whole world and their dog to see not just you. I mean, they aren’t bad. Visits were quite easily arranged etc, just the lack of information about progress etc was poor. Nothing was ever said about what the trainer thought of her or anything like that. Which, as an owner you obviously want to know. I’m guessing there is worse, just compared to other places i found the experience not so great.

Nothing has changed tried them out earlier this year 2013 with a share. Updates about every three weeks. No doubt the horse will win but previous post is right don’t feel like a part of anything yet. May come later when the horse gets to the track and I get to know the other owners. Will let you know in maybe a couple of months or maybe next week as I have no idea.

Did get an update before race. They seem to put a bit on the site monthly. Arrived at the races spoke to another owner, recognised him by the tie. Started talking to others, the Middleham rep though ignored me, did not ask who I was and introduce me to the others. Totally the wrong type of person for the job. They seem good at picking decent horses and placing them but customer service would be 1 out of 10. Looking to get involved with at least 1 more but would like a more friendly company. Early days yet but not impressed. These are simple things for the company to put right. Pity because it seems to be the biggest syndicate out there.

    Quality of horse 10
