    Didn’t know much about the guy and perhaps this is true of other members here. I did note that At The Races initially gave his age as 55 but changed it later to 61. From the short write up it sounded like he had some problems in his life. Hopefully he is at peace now.

    Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

    Very sad news indeed.
    He certainly knew his way around a horse, and knew the time of day when it came to landing a punt.
