You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.February 16, 2025 at 09:22 #1720726As a mark of respect the fixture at Punchestown on Sunday and the Irish Point-to-Point fixtures have been cancelled.

I hope that racing was a passion of Michael’s and not just a job. At least that way he will have died doing something he loved.
I wish there was a way to take the danger out the sport. But there’s not.
February 16, 2025 at 11:55 #1720745The news none of us wanted to hear. A young and talented young man has lost his life and the racing world mourns his loss.
Condolences to his family and friends coping with his loss and yet having already consented to his organs being donated to help others.
He will be sadly missed.

February 16, 2025 at 12:43 #1720749“You don’t have to be Einstein to see that horse racing is dangerous. Those two ambulances driving behind you ain’t there for the scenery. I will never get over the fatalities of colleagues. It is the saddest and toughest part of this sport.”
— AP McCoy
It has been a difficult few years for the sport with fatalities across the globe. I add my heartfelt sympathies to his family, friends and colleagues. Love conquers all.
