You’re right Raymo, it doesn’t get any easier after 62…. the body starts slowly falling apart
I went against the Balding horses in the maiden. I thought Ryan Moore riding for Hannon was interesting enough to jump on Stratocracy.Another super tricky day at Goodwood… I would suggest staying far, far away from any of my selections.
Apart from Ancient Rome, my selections have been horrible. 18 points over the last two days 
A lot of people thought it was over after Tuesday but I knew better

After a bad start Cody’s Wish had a lot to do didn’t he. Hope his biggest fan is not too disappointed.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...I used my free swap for retired Adayar on Cody’s Wish. I was agonising between him and Pretty Mischievous. Actually glad I picked Cody as I wouldn’t have wanted to prosper from Maple Leaf Mel’s death. I did get a few points from Dream of Love this week but struggling to see when to use a swap, especially as I should get another free one for Hurricane Lane when they get round to it.
I didn’t know Hurricane Lane was retiring too Catherine. I still have my free swap kicking around for Adayar and now I guess I will eventually get another for Hurricane Lane..if this keeps up I won’t need a Swap at all.
Just seen your post in Memorials Catherine..poor Maple Leaf Mel..such a brave little filly..tragic to hear that she lost her life.

I was thinking the same about swaps. Not many Godolphin horses entered in top races and those that are don’t seem to be doing well. No bonus race for 2 months either…
Update on my Godolphin stable = 5,300 pts and 449th overall rank. (Just under half the points of the leader
). I’m still holding onto 4 swaps with no real plan to use them.A somewhat disappointing end to the Goodwood comp, with the meeting being abandoned yesterday. The less said about my performance over the last four days the better!
