Jac, I’m just back on. What a day you had on Sunday, brilliant tipping :yahoo:
I think the bookies had a tough time from the Meydan team over the weekend. Long
may that be the case :good:

My big fancy for the Arc is Continuous. Loads of stamina having won the
St Leger and in August 24 won a Group 3 over 10f in a fast time. So he
has what you need in the Arc, the ground is very soft so you’re going
to need stamina, which he has, and a touch of speed, which he has.

He could have finished closer than the 3 1/2L he was beaten in 5th
last year behind the very good Ace Impact but Ryan Moore was trapped
on the rail and only saw daylight too late to catch the winner, but
he finished really well. Ladbrokes and Coral are the last to stand the
33/1, I don;t think that will last. If he goes to the Arc I reckon he’ll
be half that price. They’ve got my money……for now B-)

Hope everyone is doing well. I’ve been busy helping my wife make a lot of candles for upcoming craft shows. How did I ever have time to work! More craft shows the next two weekends, so no live racing for me!

In the Godolphin comp I’m currently on 8,020 pts & 294th – just used my fourth transfer.

Great job of tipping last weekend Jac & what a good bit of bookie bashing with Andaleep Graham. Gotta love it!

Are you heading back to Newmarket on Saturday Jac? Some good racing in prospect with a tricky looking card.
Loved the photo of Lake Victoria and the resemblance to Inspriral & both so talented.

    How’s your knee/leg doing Graham?

Good Luck with any bets and comp picks this coming weekend.

    Take Care All!

Thanks Andre and glad to hear that the Craft Fairs have taken off and doing well with the run up to Christmas. :good:
Yes I can’t wait to be back at Newmarket tomorrow and hoping to get some great pictures of both Inspiral and See The Fire. I just said on the Sun Chariot Thread that I am going to have to make the judgement of Solomon tomorrow, well not quite as I’m going to back them both…lol and a Rev.ForecasT.

I will update the Godolphin Leaderboard on Monday after the big weekend. I am running on empty with swaps after making a silly error with my selections but I’m not to worried as still have a few hopefuls in there.

Good luck Darren with your bets and Graham with those Arc bets.
I got a nice 9/1 for Believing running in the L’Abbaye sprint and really hope she can beat Bradsell this time.

Best of luck with Continuous Graham he really does stand a good chance.
I am on Los Angeles 6/1 and Mqse De Sevigne at 33’s it’s going to be a terrific race and looking forward
to Sunday. We will also be seeing Kyprios and I have Fallen Angel in my Ten To Follow so hoping she will run
well for her new owners Wathnan Racing.

Back later with a few thoughts on Newmarket tomorrow. There are some nice 2yo’s to look out for but all eyes will be on Inspiral hoping she can bring home the Sun Chariot. I think she will go well for Robert Havlin, I always though Kieran Shoemark was much too keen on her and she felt his nerves, we will see. Will also be cheering on See The Fire…what a race in prospect. I’m a bag of nerves..lol

Good luck with your choices in the comps…Jac :bye:

Just put my choices in for 3 Horses and going for a big price Nap this week in Shining Pearl in the 2.05. Saw her in the paddock only last week and she is in the most amazing condition, she’s a chestnut and her coat was gleaming.
She only ran 7th in her race with first time visor on but was in front of the well backed fav.Ghost Run. Tomorrow Karl Burke is trying the blinkers first time so we could see a big improvement. She’s worth a chance at 25/1 EW.

Here are the rest of my choices..

    1.30 – Min Huna

    2.05 (3 in this)
    The Dragon King – EW

    Shining Pearl – EW – 25/1

    Rinky Tinky Tinky – EW – 100/1
(Louise’s choice – (from The Aristocats) he’s not without a shout. :good:

    2 40 – Inspiral  *NAP*
    See The Fire (Rev Forecast)
Win on both I can’t leave STF out.

    3.15 – Quietness

    3.50 – Wild Nature

    5.00 – Madame De Sevigne

Some nice 2yo’s making their debut so will be taking a good look in the paddock.

Have a great weekends racing.. :good: :rose: Jac

Are you at Newmarket today Jac..??
I’m not sure if you will see this message in time but could you run your eye over Nakeeb in the 3.50
it looks a tough, hot race for him and the ownership like to give them a steady race on debut so I can’t see him winning but I like the pedigree and Hannon has talked him up as one for the future

Good luck at Newmarket today Jac, at least it looks like it will stay dry for you. :good:

I’ve just gone with my pick 3 and probably my 1st reserve. My nap today is Fresh in the
3.35 Ascot. He seems to love Ascot. 1Got him at 20s on the exchange, William Hill go 18/1
5 places which I still think is very good, despite his not so great draw.

    Good luck everybody today :good:

Ouch, Hill’s have just cut him to 11/1. I doubt my bet would have
had them diving for cover. that’s a big drop so somebody know something.
You can still get 20s on the machine, I doubt that will last long.
    Good luck :good:

I did look at Nakeeb although I missed your message Nathan. He really looked a picture in the paddock just a little more filling out to do I thought but he ran a cracker against a very decent horse in Nebras and the more experienced Wild Nature. :good:

I wish I’d seen your message I would have got a picture of him for you.
One for the future notebook I think andvhe’s a nice early colt too foaled 30th January :good: Jac

Well done with your 20’s on Fresh coming in 4th today Graham. :yahoo:
My best was Bopedro my reserve in Neil’s comp at 28’s but I didn’t back him today.

Had 4 x winner’s at Newmarket today :yahoo: the first two races and the last two races.
I had to back David Menusier’s Ashariba along with Min Huna in the first, she was my paddock pick, she looked stunning. This is her going to post.

Ashariba going to post for the first race :rose:

    Followed up with..
    The Dragon King
    Secret Theory and
Madame Sevigne (took 5/1 last night with PP)

It was a great day. :good:

Shame that Inspiral didn’t win her final race but she ran her best for a long time and I spent some with her
after the race while she was cooling down. She looked the most relaxed I have ever seen her after the race as if she knew it was her curtain call. B-)
Her handler loves her to bits as you can see…
    Happy retirement Inspiral

Look forward to your picks for later today at Longchamp..I need to get some sleep 😴 💤 Can’t stop buzzing after a great day.

    12.55 Longchamp Exactly 9/1

It’s the O’Brien 2nd string, but how many times have we seen
the 2nd or 3rd string bolt in.

Great Pics Jac :good: Yes I took Fresh e/w but what saved my
day was one of my reserves, Chorus at 7/1 in the 3.15 Newmarket :good:

Exactly ran a terrific race in 3rd, led from the start and was only nabbed
    in the last 200 yards…..by a 100/1 winner

    1.30 Longchamp – Houquetot 12/1 Bet365

He’s run 4 times, won 3 aand closing when beaten in 2nd in the
other. Won the last of those, a Group 3 at Longchamp. Needs to
step up for this Group 1 and the big danger is obviously the
    O’Brien horse Henri Matesse.

Bound to happen, the O’Brien 2nd string won the 2nd race aargh
No harm done,he came in 3rd at 12s :good:

*** Update The 3rd wasn’t Howquetot, he just had the same colours as
the 3rd apart from the cap. Cancel thar e/w 3rd for me

    2.05 Longchamp Kerdos 14 Exchange (13/1)

Bradsell is fav here and he beat Kerdos into 3rd last time out
at the Curragh. Watching the race, Kerdos was well back in the pack
going to the last furlong but made more ground than anything. I think
he can turn the tables on the fav 13/8 against the 12s on a few bookies.
    I’ve got him on e/w at 12/1 with Bet365.
