Thank you Sam. I did miss it
So intent on studying up todays Lingfield card today at 3.00am this morning lol
What a strange turn of events but does explain why he lost..hope ROHAAN comes out of this ok but watched the race again, twice, and can see that the jockey did not give his horse any chance turning into the straight when the field were being shaken up he sat doing nothing until the final half furlong before giving Rohaan a few taps.
Punters well and truly stitched up there .. not a great fan of David Evans (even less so now!) and jockey probably riding to orders but had to pay the price..Thanks for that Sam and best of luck today.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...January 4, 2021 at 12:27 #1516350The most concerning aspect is what condition was Rohaan in pre race? The jockey will had riding instructions. I’ve written lengthily on this on the main thread about Rohaan. Yes the jockey left things late,( good run to steal a march by the unbeaten johnston horse.) but the horse was unsound in the final furlong and found to be so by the vets post race. So how the jockey cops a ban I don’t know.
It will all come out in the wash one day….January 4, 2021 at 12:38 #1516352Last race the Bumper at Fakenham
Harde Fashion has some good form going into this race not least a 9l second to a subsequent listed bumper winner and a closer third when beaten favourite in next race.
Doesn’t face many of that calibre this time and if handling the testing ground should have a good chance here. General 3/1 shot.
Ornate runs again today and Martyn Dwyer has another go on him. All the usual suspects line up including Royal Birch this one is at lingfield. A couple of defections makes this one a virtual 3 horse race between watchable ornate and royal birth with the other three not in great form. 1.10January 4, 2021 at 12:39 #1516353Yes I get your drift now Sam it’s a worrying thought and keep us updated if you hear any further news on this..

Sorry about Amor De Mi Vida’s bad run on Saturday let’s hope my two runners today can kick start 2021 for the Thread…Fayathaan off any minute mie..

That’s more like it
Nicely done Fayathaan.
Mehmas doing very well.
King Of Clubs 2.10 would complete a nice double.

Not to worry, I had it covered with a win bet on Obtuse ( ironically a David Evans trained horse).Good call there.
at LingfieldJanuary 4, 2021 at 13:00 #1516356Thanks Sam and well done with Obtuse on Saturday
Best of luck at Fakenham in the bumper.
Have to get on Ornate today after that heartbreaking 2nd last time. Hope he turns it around today.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...January 4, 2021 at 13:08 #1516358I’ve gone for a combination tricast the first three because Ornate isn’t certain to turn things around with Royal Birth. If it comes in should be about £33 provided they don’t adjust for the small field and the favourites coming in… But this is a sprint and anything can happen!!!
And anything did happen Verne castle from stall 1 got into the mixJanuary 4, 2021 at 14:59 #1516365Unlucky there Sam with your comby..Ornate always runs a different race every time and usually wins when least expected.. Royal Birth impressive though.
King Of Clubs outclassed there by the Godolphin horse which I thought might happen (very nice). Look for a drop in class next run for KOC

Happy with my winner and off to see if I can search out another for tomorrow.

Good luck with your later bets Sam and thanks for your company.

I was impressed with the Godolphin newcomer Tamborrada at Lingfield today. 3 y/o debut but a nice pedigree who could win a few races in the future
Charles Darwin to conquer the World
January 4, 2021 at 16:59 #1516384This is getting kind of spooky Nathan..what a great winner Bill Baxter 8/1

Copied the link down here for all to see.

Could say your heading towards becoming a Billion’s heir..

Tamborrada definitely in the notebook.

Jockey of Nurse Dee
Stats since 15/12
72 rides
Placed 4th or better in 42 of those rides
Rides in the last two days the stats are even better.
Royal Births performance yesterday was exceptional. Went wide around the bend and almost out of contention and regained thread to storm home, a smoother course may well have increased the winning margin by some way.January 5, 2021 at 09:32 #1516444Thanks for the stats Sam that’s encouraging news

.JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...January 5, 2021 at 09:50 #1516447With the low draw Nurse Dee is on my list for the tricast. Would be handy to reduce the shortlist to three as with four I tend to reduce the stake to account for the 24 lines, but it worked last night in the last at wolves
. I dealt with that by half stakes on both trifecta and tricast to enjoy the best of both worlds and get a ‘mean’ payout. They were both similar dividends in the end.
A trifecastJanuary 5, 2021 at 10:04 #1516449Nicely done with Fayathaan Jac
Kicking myself after Nathan putting in a word for me to Bill and I
missed his next winner at 8/1
Some good info there Sam, thanks for that
January 5, 2021 at 10:27 #1516452Yes Big G,
Stats are handy but you can soon drown in them. Your winners are just around the corner.
Nice call with Bill Baxter I didn’t see it and had set my mind on the fourth placed horse.
I like those horses with the double ring to the name with the same letter, guess that is why I’m SS.
Will take a peek today. - AuthorPosts
