It has to be Grass for me. A good contributor in both the Racing section and the Lounge where his forthright opinions are always (well, almost always) presented in a humorous manner and are usually on the money.

I almost voted Zome, for the reasons outlined in Scottish Jamie’s post, and also considered a sympathy vote for the hapless anagram.

Honourable mentions to Bob Rolf for his absolutely sterling work with the fantastic 4pp competition, SteveDG, Kotki, DaveJay, Razeen and Lolly’s Mate for the Lounge antics and Burroughhill, who remains delightful. In the racing section EC would probably be my winner, not because I agree with him necessarily, but he’s been an enthusiastic contributor. APRacing continues to deliver the most incisive and logical contributions.

It is good to see Jim JTS back in action, while I miss Mully and Tete (although they do pop in now and again).

Also DL and LRM both deserve to be mentioned for continuing to keep the show on the road. In particular I know that LRM does a great job behind the scenes and has been really helpful to me when setting up the copetitions and stuff.

You should be right up there yourself amongst the leaders to be honest, with all the good work you do on here which often keeps the place alive.

One or two on the ‘poll’ shouldn’t be there in my opinion and a serious omission on my part to have left you off my list and I apologise for that, for what it’s worth.

I think your right Tony, some sort of reconcilliation could be in order.

    Do you not think Sharon
was possibly herself the missing big hitters ?
She was after all known to replicate late at night

Sharon was a pearl on two hairy legs.
She developed a nasty pimple on her aft cheek
brought about by the stress of her going,
this matched the two small pizza shaped nipples
she was blessed with from an early age.
Men liked her but were intimidated by
her extreme cleverness and foxy nature.
GOD SHE IS MISSED THOUGH
or in the words of the soothsayer
Meshy Quiddawitch who spreads her lovely charms
throughout this house
God is missed

flatcapgamble…Quiddy actually wrote god is SORELY missed – she just loves the word sore and will capitalise it at a moments notice

ps I am without pm function

Dave, If you are in the mediation business, you might work the oracle and reclaim Harry Bennis to the fold as well. Losing one big-hitter this year may have been a misfortune but losing two……

    Diane Returns 25/1
Barry Returns 33/1
Both Return 66/1

dIANe deserves it this year after going so close last

Was Barry warned off as well? I’d assumed that he was busy with his new venture into the High Street. It would be nice to see him back.

Barry wasn’t warned off, he just took umbrage at some members ( just possibly including Diane !) suggesting that the motivations behind his charity donations may not have been 100% altruistic.
