This horse trained in Middleham by Simon West (everybody knows him)
was higly impressive on his debut at Carlisle when he simply destroyed Master Dee, a horse that has won 2 from 2 since, beating him by 36 lengths.
On his next start he beat Vago Collenges at Haydock by 11 lengths and would be almost my number 1 British trained contender for the Neptune (I’m talking about the race better known as Sun Allince Hurdle), if he was to run.
Why is this horse without a Cheltenham entry at all? Does he need more time or is he injured?
Any news is welcome. Thanks!January 31, 2015 at 13:40 #503563Out for the season with a ‘minor pelvic fracture’. Which was why he missed the Challow Hurdle after being in the five day entries.
Expected to be back in October, presumably to go chasing.
January 31, 2015 at 13:44 #503564Oh dear, thanks for the news. What an exciting prospect he looked.
Hope he will make his mark over fences.January 31, 2015 at 16:01 #503589That’s a shame he was on my list to follow, just hope he can make a full recovery
