Mark’s Method

As part of understanding complexity I decided to look at horse racing and see if it is possible to derive a fairly simple system to pick winners reasonably consistently and make a steady overall profit.

I did some research online. I spoke with some people in the industry. I spent a lot of hours looking at past results. The result is a method based upon a simple analysis of past places and the market prices which leads to a selection in some but not all races. These selections have a record that suggests they can win again at reasonable odds.

So now I am testing.

Todays one selection is Summery Justice 2.00 Kempton

wow. It won at 7.1. And i got an early price of 12.1.

But not showing off. There will be LOTS of losers I am sure.

I’ve already posted this one last night as very gpood EW yalue in another thread with my reasoning for selecting it.

The one selection came 3rd. But i backed to win

ok I’m back:). Last week saw a loss of ten units – boo

But the previous week saw a total gain of 34 units.

So this week will be interesting!

Hmm. I don’t like aw racing in terms of betting. So i have no bets today. Where is the spring? Heard this could be one of the coldest winters ever recorded. Hey Ho.
