Anyone else here going?
Channel 4 will insist on calling this meeting "the climax of the summer jumping season", when strictly speaking it isn’t really – the most historically accurate interpretation of that term is the collection of meetings set up between early June and late July since 1995 – but I’m not about to split hairs. I simply know it as (a) the Bluesq meeting, and (b) bloody good fun.
Any excuse to go to Rasen is a good one, frankly – terrific small course and deserving of all the accolades it gets.
I can’t offer lifts to anyone this time for assorted reasons, but I’d be delighted to say hello to any TRFfers also there – feel free to drop me a line beforehand if you wish. As usual, I’ll be that speccy oaf in the black skulking around the parade ring.

Will be very disappointed if he doesn’t dot up.September 28, 2007 at 10:39 #116908Nothing in stone, but half toying with the idea of putting in an appearance tomorrow.
If I do, I’l come and hunt you down. I might even see my way forwrd to buying you another half pint of the black stuff, providing I haven’t found the regulation first 5 losers…..

September 28, 2007 at 11:09 #116915That’d be cool, Keith! I don’t think we’ve caught up since Chaddesley Corbett ptp two and a bit years ago – rest assured most of tomorrow’s runners will be a bit fitter and sharper!
