Probably not a bad move to have missed it. She would have to be very special to have beaten the winner.

It was the going BHA reported. Relax lol

Look at the non runners list coz of the going. Edwardstone out tomorrow as well.

Cheltenham clerk of the course didnt turn on the taps this time.

    “Race rival ducked out.”

I doubt that made much difference.

Fair enough Mike, I guess I just always find it a little odd when there are Non-Runners yet all the fancied horses run to their merits, it’s not as though Luccia didn’t bolt up on soft at Sandown last year lol. Maybe Nicky just doesn’t want to give the mare a hard race.

Ah wasn’t aware it was good ground today, it’s rained really heavily here on the south coast for the past week with it being more sunny today and yesturday, hence me assuming the ground may have been tacky. Not sure what all this means for the horses chances if it’s good ground come March then

He likely just didn’t want to start her on good ground

True FF, will be interesting to see if he sends her straight over hurdles now.

Thinking about it if Henderson was happy to run his other horses today/tomorrow but pulled Luccia out I think that bodes well for us, probably means he thinks she could be a bit special

The ground will have to be 100% perfect before Henderson allows her to set her dainty little hooves upon it.
