Value Is EverythingHDLG: That would be Isambard St John-Pustule, officially the dimmest boy ever to attend Eton, whose father bought him a place at Warwick University to read The Beano for an undisclosed sum in 1981.
Isambard, a keen racing fan, befriended Chezza at the Fresher’s Fayre and cynical urban State school undergraduate Chezza, always with an eye to the main chance, even way back then, allowed Isambard to effectively become Chezza’s Butler and Chauffeur, driving Chezza to the races all over the Midlands when both were supposed to be at lectures.
Isambard and Chezza remained friends right up until Isambard’s sad demise, shortly after graduating (well, having the degree bought for him in Isambard’s case) when Isambard tragically decided to have a crack at putting his own trousers on unassisted one morning and fell out of his bathroom window.
CAS: We were robbed – ROBBED! – and no one will EVER convince me otherwise!
