Has to be a possibility that the ground will appeal even less to his two co-favourites so Altareq at 9/2 must at least be value in the Wood Ditton!

Favourite 9/4 currently Indian Springs took his debut well within his stride and suggested he was in love with the game already in the final furlong. Should be sharp enough to take it, my guess. Kaleido’s debut race last year may not have been that strong. Market will tell again no doubt
Zygharta not 6/4 on the basis of her bare form or looking particularly imposing on soft ground but potential presumably.
I’ll take her on with the unraced Pearla 4/1 who might put her best foot forward in a slow paced race.
Interesting to hear what Ken has to say re these fillies.

Chinkara has a lot of experience under her belt but odds of 5/4 look a bit cramped for her to shine over 7f. Hollie will need to get her fractions right and take the initiative – not always easy in the middle of the Yarmouth straight
So worth taking a chance on Appleby’s newcomer Heart of Eternity @ 11/4
