    A faller in the last race at Listowel today. Though not mentioned once by Dessie he was a fatality since he lay there motionless and covered by the screens last time round. He should get a mention though, because it makes no sense to hide him under the carpet.

    I don’t always agree with some of the things you put on here RubyLight, but in this case I agree completely. It was obvious that the horse had died and to ignore this and pretend it hasn’t happened is to treat the horse as if it didn’t matter. All horses matter, regardless of their level of ability or financial worth, and should be treated as such.
