Jockey I didnt know much about but saw this article earlier in the week and then noticed she was riding one of TRF sydicate horses in bumper at Southwell on wednesday Red Danger Angel.
Out of sentiment for the forum had a couple of quid each way on it and she gave it a really good ride to come 2nd to a fairly gud un pulling well clear of third.
Impressed with her (As was Grey desire one of syndicate members who has put abrief report on another section about RDA) and will be backing De Boitron at Chelts in Grand Annual (who was already in my notebook after lto 3rd) now that she is confirmed as the jockey. Hoping though to get better than the current 10/1 on day.
Jockey to follow and in terms of RDA I think also a horse to keep an eye on. Another winner waiting to happen imho in either an average bumper or a sharp 2m track novice hurdle.
Oops realised I’ve digressed a bit re LA and Chelts re thoughts around RDA. Hope readers don’t mind

March 4, 2012 at 06:07 #394771Not at all,it’s nice to see someone noticing we are still around.
She rode exactly to instructions on Wed and that’s all you can ask for.
With a bit of luck she could have easily had a treble from her three rides at Kelso yesterday but had to settle for a win and a couple of seconds.
Little feature below that has just been posted on the Guardian website regarding her Cheltenham prospects.March 4, 2012 at 10:53 #394781Lucy Alexander keeps getting better. Several really good rides today on Jet Master, Red Tanber and, notably, on Four Fiddlers.
It’d be fantastic if she were to win or get into the frame at Cheltenham. De Boitron could be the one

She went toe-to-toe with AP on Hey Four Fiddlers for a good while before the jolly came in. That was probably one of her finest rides, ironically in defeat.
March 4, 2012 at 13:04 #394812I was there with Rob North and Rob correctly commented that she didn’t look at all out of place against McCoy on that run-in.
March 4, 2012 at 20:19 #394835She is very good but Ferdy’s horses always well overbet these days at festival, imo
March 4, 2012 at 22:51 #394851Not really overbet – you’d have made excellent profit backing blind since 2003. Since 2008 you’d have a very small loss (2%) backing blind but if you discounted the unbacked horses (25/1 plus) in that period you’d be well up (over 41%).
He’s had a festival winner every year bar one year (2009) since (and including) 2006 which is quite a feat for a yard such as his.
