    Read on Kim Baileys blog that they have lost Lord Seamus; he was having a wonderful retirement, being a lead horse and going pointing [his son won on him]..however, he got some birch in his leg at his last point which penetrated the coffin bone, and there was nothing the vet could do. This is really sad, considering the way that Kim looks after his retired horses and he does so much work for Greatwood; condolences to all connections, who had such fun with the horse..they’ve lost a good friend; r.i.p. Lord Seamus.

    Yes this is very sad, and Kim took it badly, he was one of the family and a excellent servant to theyard….
