I back Enbiharr last time out when she won easily in a three runner race, my only concern is the ground because she likes it on the firm side but with the sun out today the ground is drying out. The Met Office forecast is for it to stay dry this evening, overnight and until 1pm where there is a slight chance of a light shower. Going changed today from good to soft, good in places, to good, good to soft in places at 11.39am and I am hoping by tomorrow it’s good going all round. I have backed her 11/4 and 5/2.
August 20, 2020 at 16:15 #1498106If ever a horse deserves a win like this its nayef road
He should be favourite really having finished miles clear of the third in the gold cup and splitting stradivarius and santiago at goodwood
5/2 will do me
August 20, 2020 at 16:22 #1498108I was torn between Enbihaar and Nayef Road. Jim Crowley her jockey said she will stay the extra 2 furlongs and it’s only a matter of time before she wins a Group one race.
August 20, 2020 at 17:09 #1498115I’m torn between the front two as well, so will sit this one out, but quite an interesting race here for a Cup race, which isn’t always the case.
August 20, 2020 at 17:44 #1498122I took a lot from Dashing Willoughby at Sandown last time. I’d give him a live chance here at 4-1.
August 20, 2020 at 21:12 #1498155Backed Nayef Road ew when it was 3 places. Think he will go close.
August 21, 2020 at 09:38 #1498193Dashing Willoughby for me, but this was tough one
August 21, 2020 at 11:46 #1498216Dashing Willoughby being backed as though defeat is out of the question
Hopefully the market is underestimating nayef road again, just like last time when he was available at 6/1-7/1 in the without strad market
Id love to know the direction of the wind as if there’s a tail wind and nayef road gets an easy lead he will take some pegging back
August 21, 2020 at 12:43 #1498222The going at 6am was good except for 2 furlongs what could change by the time racing starts. I am happy with that to give my horse a good chance.
August 21, 2020 at 14:12 #1498236No the rain has hit.
August 21, 2020 at 14:19 #1498238Get in there.
August 21, 2020 at 14:25 #1498239So nayef road drifts all day (despite plenty being matched on betfair, more than the gambled on dashing Willoughby in fact) then completely misses the start
And finds absolutely nothing in the final furlong which is very very unusual for such a tough stayer
May be pocket talking but something stinks about that to me
Anyway rant over hahaha
well done winners

Enbihaar is a beautiful moving mare
Youd have to think she will take all the beating on champions day with stradivarius going to the arc
August 21, 2020 at 14:32 #1498241She done it on ground what isn’t her favorite. Strange betting with Dashing Willoughby going favorite and right near the off the money came for Enbihaar.
August 21, 2020 at 15:41 #1498254Nayef Road did ok.
But after today it confirms to me that he’s not as good at York. Before today he was 5th of 5 snd 6th of 8.
August 21, 2020 at 19:26 #1498287He needed to get to the front
His chances ended at the start, hes not fast enough to be passing horses
August 21, 2020 at 20:15 #1498295I’d be very surprised if Enbihaar goes to Champions Day thats only a Group 2 she needs to get a Group 1 on her CV and the better prize money and the Group 1 opportunities lie in France
