I can’t seem to find any links for replays, would like to see the L’abbaye again just to see how close sole power really was!
October 2, 2011 at 17:50 #372761When the BBC eventually put the Arc coverage on iplayer you will be able to see it via that.

October 2, 2011 at 21:10 #372780It would be rather nice if one of the two dedicated racing sites (SportingLife/RUK or ATR) had replays of the biggest meeting on the European calendar wouldn’t it? What a ******* joke.

I would imagine that because ATR show Longchamp live but not the replays there are probably some legal or contractual reasons.

October 3, 2011 at 14:25 #372850Cheers lads, though the more i look at it the more i think i was on the best horse

Ah well thats the joys of a hold up horse!
October 4, 2011 at 11:01 #372924I’d like to see the Abbaye too. Like complete lemons we were stood by the ‘winning post’ waiting for the horses to fly past us, not knowing that the race is run on the other side of the course away from the stands
. Still confused as to where they were. Thought they’d gone so fast I’d missed them!

Moehat if you can’t get the BBC I player here’s a youtube link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-ZDO-cPsHM
October 4, 2011 at 13:48 #372938One thing I will say about the Arc meet is that the TV camera angles are atrocious. In-running punters surely have no hope in hell of picking the winner even after they have passed the line.

WTF was that commentary?
It even made The Filly Factor seem professional.
It wasn’t one of Robin Gray’s was it?

Given it was a Dubai Racing broadcast, not to mention sounding awfully like him, it appears it was Robin Gray. He really needed Prohibit to win, didn’t he?
October 4, 2011 at 18:16 #372960It was Barty (although he does sound like Robin Gray when he’s working on the French Racing.
Not sure if he was on course or watching from a monitor although to be fair the finish for the Abbaye is about half a mile from the stands!!!

Try this for size. Who’s his pundit?
