Done a couple scorecast for tonights game.
Liverpool 3-0 (Keane 1st goal) @22/1 and
Liverpool 3-0 (Gerrard 1st goal) @28/1
Although Liege were the better side in the first leg i cant see them repeating the performance at Anfield and have every confidence in Liverpool keeping a clean sheet. Then with a bit of luck Keane or Gerrard to score the first goal forcing the Belgians forward leaving gaps for one or hopefully two more goals.
Good luck if you’ve had a bet and enjoy the game.

They’re currently buyable for the win at 1/4 on Betfair, which I think is poor value considering the Belgians looked at least threatening. I.m Laying the scousers at that price in the hope they drift to 1/2 to buy back..
Arsenal, another side not exactly playing with the fluency one expects are also trading at 1/4. Jammy in the fist leg and with a 2 goal cushion, they are a lay at that price in the hope that they’ll drift to 1/2 before they score.
I want both English teams to survive. so hope Liverpool win 3-0 foryou but that they don’t go ahead until the second half.
August 27, 2008 at 18:53 #178376Good Luck with the bet, Nathan. You have to fancy Pool to trounce the Belgians after playing so well V Boro.
Just doing a fun acca tonight with William Hill:
Pool @1/5
Marseille @ 2/9
Sunderland @ 23/20 (taking Roy at his word!)
West Ham @ 2/7
Blackburn @ 2/94/1 return if they all oblige and it wouldn’t be a miracle as none haver really hard matches at the weekend.
August 27, 2008 at 22:45 #178392If only my team (West Ham) could play like they did in in the extra time today all the time!
August 27, 2008 at 22:53 #178393If you did’nt see the game you made a wise choice.
I was wrong Liege did repeat their performance of the 1st leg.

August 28, 2008 at 19:25 #178469Jeez that was an awful match.
Why dont the FA bring in a rule that all games with Liverpool should beging on 82 mins with the other team being given a 1-0 headstart.
Im not a Liverpool fan I am Man Utd but honestly without Gerrard they are a waste of time and I bet he wishes he could have joined Chelsea as it would have been his only chance of ever winning a league title.
