Very hard to tell as he seemed to travel so well, maybe he just wasn’t fit but I could be clutching at straws
November 13, 2022 at 14:07 #1622989Would he be farther on fitness wise than porter ? , still questions to answer , he def doesn’t find much off the bridle …
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 13, 2022 at 14:10 #1622990With previous years as a POV, HDLG, FP would need the run more than BOB typically.
November 13, 2022 at 14:14 #1622993Yeah looking at it again if say you,s want to keep taking him on
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 13, 2022 at 14:58 #1623009If he’d have been beaten by zanahiyr or FP or even AB there id probably give him another go if you where a fan, but the way the winner travelled at the start and the way everything else finished, id be inclined to say the majority never ran there rating, bob clearly ran better than the rest, but its hard to imagine HBTL has ran above 150 there, so id have bob running to about 147, i cant see him having more than a stone improvement in him personally
His mark could go into a somewhat freefall if he does that again

I’m backing him for the County Hurdle as soon as I can get a price.
November 13, 2022 at 15:33 #1623020I can’t remember what Bob’s jumping was like as a novice hurdler, nor did I watch todays race in its entirety, but from what I saw it looked like Bob put in a few sketchy jumps, maybe he does have some sort of back problem.
November 13, 2022 at 16:32 #1623030Had the winner been able to run off 150 plus a penalty at Haydock next week….
These are the sort of hypothetical questions I like.
