Can anyone please explain how/why this was a 16 runner race on the A/W (perhaps it was on the turf and is incorrectly described. I wasn’t there).
I understood A/W racing fields were now restricted to 12/14 runners because of safety but I must be wrong.
If I am wrong, why do we have so many of them with maximum fields of 14?
