    Moe, I’m shocked.

I thought you were thinking about foregoing the Flat?

Doctor Crane cos it could be one of these group horses in hiding and its owned by Gosdens WIFE!

This is quite fun and interesting.

First of all, thankyou, because otherwise wouldn’t know.

    Trainer J H M Gosden
Owner Ms Rachel D S Hood

DATE SALE NAME LOT VENDOR PURCHASER PRICE CURRENCY
08Jul09 Tattersalls 409 From Clarehaven Stables (j. Gosden) Withdrawn —
28Oct08 Tattersalls 677 From Clarehaven Stables Withdrawn —
02May08 Tattersalls 98 From Knockanglass Stables Ireland Blandford Bloodstock 52,000 GNS
20Sep07 Keeneland 3593 From Waterford/ Millford Farms, Agent BBA Ireland 25,000 USD

Withdrawn from the Sales twice. John withdrew it because the wife went on sex strike?

    24May09 Newmarket ( 10 GF ,RPR98 )
He ran well at Sandown first time out where he had 9st 4lb and just got beaten two lengths but he’s not a well handicapped horse. He is moving into the twilight zone now and would be an ideal horse for Hong Kong but we will see what the handicapper does with him. My thoughts are to have a crack at the Hampton Court Stakes at Royal Ascot and that will keep the owner happy – John Gosden

Past winners seem to have won over 10f and not many horses in the race fil that profile, at least, not within the probable draw bias. Full Toss has won over that distance, although he does seem to be the slowest horse in the race..if not in the whole world. My kind of horse.

I can’t get my head around the price of the favourite so I’ve had a little ratio bet on Collateral Damage @ 16-1. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Smokey Oakey in the frame.

Good luck to everyone :D :D

I think there are enough negatives against the favourite to oppose him, especially at the price. Bookies have been hyping him up and that is never a good thing…..

I like Tiger Reigns , think his efforts where he comes up short have been on good ground and seems to like the softer going which he should get tomorrow. Think he has a decent shout.

Its a shame the Gosden hoss is a non runner cos we all could have had fun with the Gosden wife link but hey it means one less to beat LOL

the posts on racing posts are interesting, "Lang shining should be 10 or 12 to 1 not 33’s" etc. the money ive lost in the past on that, if Stoute couldnt get a win out of it, im pretty convinced any other trainer cannot. Penitent for me, Mias Boy 2nd.

Students of form would be quick to dismiss the chances of

    Collateral Damage

today,Benandonner gave him weight and a sound beating last year and he missed the cut for the Lincoln! Had Collateral had his pipeopener at Wolverhampton recently, i would have been quite confident of a big run, however he had a stalls drama and missed the race,he has since passed the stalls test,i hope he behaves today. His last run of the season, when beating Mias Boy off a mark of 92 shows he did improve last year and if he"s fit enough,i can see him cutting through the field late, thats one thing about him,he loves to cut through the pack and is willing in battle, his form with the favourite gives him a fighting chance too!TAPK renowned for being Bullish, when he fancies one, will remain quietly confident today!

Think I’m going for Viva Vettori hoping he handles the ground. Has won a grade 2, won over 10f and should have a good draw. Is also a colt [read that colts have a better record than geldings, although that is probably because 4 year olds have a better record]. 4 years old and carrying less than 9 st. Also Reve de Nuit at 66/1. The words I will back everything that Willy Haggas runs will no doubt come back and haunt me![oops; not 4 year old]. This horse Full Toss is bugging me. Trainer seems a bit canny.

Not wishing to sound like a party pooper; but if there is one important race in the flat race calendar which excites me less than any other, it just has to be the Lincoln.

Akin to a glorified donkey Derby in my eyes. :?

Suffice to say, I won’t be having a bet and have absolutely no interest at all in who wins the race.

I can’t have the favourite either. Too much hype not enough substance for mine. Right price looks at least 6/1 or better to me. Not sure which way to turn but Tiger Reigns looks most likely at this stage. Richard Fahey has a good even hand but none of them stand out to me.
