I didn’t believe that I would ever have to rate a meeting, where the going allowance ended up beating the -2.75s/f I had one day on the hurdles course at Ffos Las.
Assessing the going allowance at Limerick yesterday, as the meeting progressed the going deteriorated to such an extent, I ended up with 4 going allowances, recording a personnel best towards the end of the meeting at -2.85s/f.
Race 1 = -1.52s/f
Race 2 & 3 = -2.02s/f
Race 4,5 & 6 = -2.26s/f
Race 6 & 7 = -2.85s/fLimerick (IRE)

December 29, 2015 at 10:05 #1227557You know when things get bad, ref the RP going allowance at Limerick yesterday (28th Dec).
Dave Edwards “Top Speed” had the going allowance at -3.00s/f (deep), which is new RP record.
As he said in an email to me this morning, I never normally go beyond -2.50s/f, yesterdays going was insane…
The good news is, the going will only be recorded as Heavy!!!
