A very bold move imo. If the ground becomes testing he could reach a place, but otherwise the money looks pretty much thrown out of the window. We’ll see and good luck to them!
The stable really is in great form.

I don’t think it is such a big shout. Recent form, improving and seems tough and reliable. How many of the others could you say that about?

Improved a stone on OR since the season began, and probably needs to find another stone to win this Champion Hurdle. But he looks as if he’ll go well on better ground, seems a decent jumper who is tractable and tough, and the hill ought to suit him.

Also, the supplementary fee represents 20% of his total earnings for this small syndicate, who have just this one in training from what I can see. It’s a big commitment, and the worst they’ll get from it is a day out they’ll never forget.

    Good luck to them.

    I’m a big fan.
Lil is improving, very genuine and reliable. I had a few quid on at a big price for the Stayers Hurdle, NRNB. Although won a 2 mile handicap in soft has shown improved form at 2 1/2 miles and promises to stay further. Can see why an open Champion is more tempting than a Stayers Hurdle with a short priced Thistlecrack, just think he’ll get outpaced if it’s not very soft ground. Good luck to connections and well done for having a go! :good:
