Apparently Leo’s Lucky Star died following a fall after his last race, which I think was at Aintree last April. I didn’t know anything about this and can’t find anything. It was on the RP Ten to Follow list this morning. Does anyone know anything about this?

Didn`t know anything Lizzie. Feared it may have been the case with the long absence and no mentions.Lovely horse to watch when he got it right.

    Very sad news.

My friend Leo always followed this horse for obvious reasons. I always thought Leo’s Lucky Star’s trainers did a brilliant job in improving his jumping. He fell on his first three starts over hurdles but evolved into a fairly safe chaser.

    RIP

I have now found out that Leo did suffer a fatal fall at Aintree last April. Truly awful, but I’d rather know than just wonder where he went.

Remember he started his career with Mark Johnston winning his first 2 races before moving on to jumping later in his life.
Sad to hear that he has gone, I don’t remember reading about it.
He was a brave little horse who will be sadly missed.
