Is this the horse that is owned by naps (I think) and is it still owned by him?
November 20, 2007 at 16:28 #125905It is indeed.
November 20, 2007 at 17:17 #125919Indeed
Has been given a mark of 131 by handicapper….somewhat high in my opinion..November 20, 2007 at 17:50 #125929indeed it is a name i never forget
November 20, 2007 at 17:51 #125930I take it the Fred Winter beckons then naps?
November 20, 2007 at 17:57 #125931No Rory….he’d be carrying too much weight for a small horse. It’s a long way off but the Imperial Cup followed by the Supreme Novices or Triumph is a possibility.
November 20, 2007 at 19:20 #125936November 20, 2007 at 19:21 #125938Not heard from Gardasee in a while Naps is he doing ok? Novice chasing the plan?
November 20, 2007 at 19:24 #125939Gardasee’s doing great….really filling out his huge frame and will be going novice chasing. Expect to see him out around Xmas.
November 20, 2007 at 19:25 #125940Thanks naps – sure looks a horse of great promise, did I see him win on the flat over the summer?
November 20, 2007 at 19:28 #125942Yes, a couple of ladies races. He and Dinarius
have also moved to Kahlil Burke. Dinarius will
be the one to look out for when he runs in about
2-3 weeks.November 20, 2007 at 19:42 #125945I saw Lemon Silk run a couple of days ago, and remembered he was yours naps. Looked as if he ran a pretty good race.
November 20, 2007 at 20:53 #125960Indeed
Has been given a mark of 131 by handicapper….somewhat high in my opinion…Not half it’s a bit high! Crikey, Naps, that’s not great news.

Nice one naps.
December 15, 2007 at 16:20 #130679Thanks DJ, much appreciated.
December 15, 2007 at 16:54 #130686Absolutely terrific result, sir, really really pleased for you!
I’m not sure what I found the most nerve-wracking – Lemon Silk hitting the front as early as he did, or the venerable Dave Smith calling him the winner a long way out despite Art Professor mowing into your boy’s advantage hand over first inside the last half furlong.
I don’t think Lemon Silk would be the classiest horse to line up in the Triumph if he went that route, but he’d be among the bravest, and I could think of worse long shots in the event of appreciable dig underfoot. Whatever, his has been one of the most heartening success stories of this jumps season given all his injury problems, and I await his next appearance with interest.

December 15, 2007 at 19:38 #130707Had Mr Burke been drinking Naps? He’s talking Supreme Novices for your fella, would have thought the Triumph would be more obvious

Congratulations on the win – great run from Lemon Silk
