Not sure why I’m even looking at this, as bar the odd good day, I usually get it wrong

Few obvious ones catching the eye…………

Buachaillbocht – I’m confident he wins a decent level handicap before the seasons out, and a big price here at 25’s

Built By Ballymore – Ran well for a good way last time in The Punchestown National trial, and looks worth another go. 33’s looks wrong

Folly Master – Been watching him over hurdles, fairly consistent, likeable type, who I’m keen on when he goes back over fences. Another smashing price here. 25’s

Shanbally Kid – Genuinely think he’s one of the best handicapped horses in training. Bet him for Irish National, and don’t want him running in this. Will cover him if declared

Selection just now though would be Fishery Lane. Watching him very closely, and the type I could see me betting regularly over next couple of years. Thought he would be single figures, and I love that 20’s. I’ll wait though and see if he’s in the entries for Leopardstown

Final Decs

Smaller effort this time, even though a race I really like, as got that Folly Master bet to cover.

Split stakes with Buachaillbocht, who I’m not convinced with, while Built By Ballymore I’m more confident in

I’ve had a decent bet on Shanbally Kid for Irish National, so I’ve bet him to cover those stakes only. I’m hoping he’s down the field here

You’re right, he’s declared for Leopardstown.
I wonder what the target is. Irish National, if he goes up enough to get in, Scottish National if he doesn’t? He was thought worthy of a space on the lorry run in the Albert Bartlett last year and a mark of 128 has to have a bit of juice in it you would think.
