    Sadly broke her shoulder when falling three out in the 8.00 at Worcester tonight.
    Very sad to see her going over the jumps after 62 runs on the Flat. Finished a 4th of four first time out over timber and surely deserved a better treatment. She was under some pain when she got up after her front legs were pulled apart by the fall. Let’s hope she didn’t suffer too much.

    Rest in Peace Lady Lunchalot!

    It shouldn’t be allowed for any horse to revert from flat racing to Novice Hurdles in the same season as this poor mare was made to do within 10 days of running a decent race on the flat and now after giving her all she has suffered terribly tonight and lost her life. If she had been mine I would never have let her go jumping.

    I have worked my way backwards through this list and it’s so sad that young beautiful horses are losing their lives being asked to do something they were never bred for. RIP all the babies.
