I have you to thank as I believe you put the fear of death into Matron with talk of the Kray twins.

Having watched the race again i cant see what ryan done wrong. I also thought westover would lead to stop broome getting an easy run at the front. Ryan pushed on where we expected him too. Pyledriver was always within two or three lengths of broome so they werent going that fast. Pyledriver simply much the best on the day,t tasso run great but the ground too firm and mishriff doesnt stay 12f in a strong race. Broome definetely below par but i suspect the hardwicke was his target this season. As for the back two. Id give them another chance but the three year old form looks shaky.

Broome was well placed to win his group 1 on soft ground in France. He’s a group 2 horse & Saturday’s race is as good as he is. Ride made no difference. He’s not better than Mishriff, even if Mishriff doesn’t quite stay. 3 year olds deserve another chance but the jury is out and it isn’t looking good.

Maybe the three year olds are not that good.
