Hiya,
I’ve just been flicking through some past King George VI Chase results and have been reminded that the race has been open to 4yos for the last two years.
Does anyone know what weight allowance they’re entitled to get, if any, and whether any 4yo other than Cyrlight has been seriously considered for the race since 2004, please?
Cheers,

November 12, 2006 at 20:02 #30809This year’s King George closes on Wednesday. 4yos would carry 10-11, whilst older carry 11-10.
November 12, 2006 at 20:45 #30810Just the job, ta very much! I knew La Landiere and Lady Cricket got a mares’ concession, but was less sure about wee scrotes like Cyrlight. Can’t think of any 4yos likely to be entered this time around (much less any that deserve to be on form to date), but forewarned is forearmed!
