    Nice one Landafar,
Goodwill to all Men except according to our esteemed f*****g leaders, all Palestinians who are dying in their thousands because no politician or king in this Country dare break with convention and condemn genocide when it is committed by an ally.
Not only are innocent civilians being slaughtered in their thousands many times they have been “ directed to safe areas “ by the invading forces and then found themselves under targeted and sustained intense bombardment leading to many hundreds of men women and children of all ages. All of these actions are in direct contravention of the Geneva convention of rules of war and safety of peoples caught up in non combatant conflicts. So despite the powers given to our own countries to protect and enforce, we are storing up troubles for our own children in the future.
Who will be the first famous politician or member of the royal family to actually do what their constituents are asking them to do and use their UN powers to broker and enforce a ceasefire?
I’m quite ashamed of these tossers. All of them.

I am finding it hard to look beyond Allaho here. Mullins came over here mob handed after Allaho won the John Durkan when first of seven. It was a December race and perhaps insufficient time to prepare a horse who has had training trouble in the past. But he has won seven from eight. And stayed at home two years ago to win next time out at thurles en route to winning at Cheltenham. Despite the lay off a decent return in the same race in late November means Mullins sends just one, not four and there is no subterfuge on this occasion when somehow the Mullins team twigged Paul Nichols game plan for his team and annulled their challenge totally with outsider Toronado flyer the 40/1 winner under Danny Mullins. The coup delivered, no Irish Mullins runner even entered the race last year and nicholls duly won the race again. Mullins has scared off the opposition and rather trainers enter in hope, they defected in their hordes again leaving the race wide open to Mullins to seek another smash and grab here with a horse who despite his training issues has done everything right since that John Durkans in December 21. One defeat to chacon pon sur at Liverpool in a two miler means over this trip in this class he is unbeaten in two years and Mullins puts him out for this race in tip top condition. He won’t want for much here tomorrow.

Allaho’s problem is he won’t get an easy lead , Whacker will be pushing him all the way , I really see BMG and if he starts Shiskin attacking late , 2 horses that can outstay him , when does Townsend get a breather in ?

There’s a couple here with the ability to win who I just couldn’t take short prices about.

Bravemansgame is historically the one to be with as this is a race for multiple winners and he’d hitherto looked an autumn horse.

But he’s been disappointing this season – not Cobden’s best ride but he still should have won on the bit at Wetherby, and the horse he beat 14 lengths in this has hammered him at Haydock.

    5/2 after that?

You’re having a laugh – he can win without my money on him.

And anyone who takes 7/2 pre-race about a horse who refused to race last time out and is clearly getting his own ideas about the game wants carting off in a strait jacket.

Don’t go banking on another “justice” refund – you may not get it, and you definitely don’t deserve it even if you do as betting is meant to be for grown ups and anyone backing Shishkin goes into it with their eyes open, knowing what happened last time.

I think Allaho is the most probable winner – top on OR and that annihilation of Clan Des Obeaux over 3m at Punchestown ticks every box for this.

He was only 1.4s outside standard when he won his first Ryanair so it’s a myth he needs a bog – drying ground won’t bother him.

But Punchestown was 18 months ago and he’s not had to run up to that at Clonmel – so you’re guessing a bit at a short price there.

The Real Whacker ran poorly first time out and is still inexperienced and Frodon isn’t the horse he was.

That leaves Hewick who can’t win this if they all run to their peak, but the drying ground will suit, he’s the most versatile horse in the race, stays further but with the speed to have won over shorter, and he’s only actually got 9lb to find on OR.

If Hewick runs to his peak and the others don’t run to theirs (plausible – see above reasons) he could be on the premises.

He’s not the most probable winner, but Hewick is the value bet in the race for me.

Its one of those races where I didn’t want to back anything at the prices to be honest and I haven’t. Speculative on Allaho long term with Gold Cup in mind, don’t think he’d stay and I wouldn’t back him on the day but if Galopin flops again there has to be a case for sending a King George winner (if that happens) at his age to a Gold Cup, what else does Willie have? If he wins this by miles I’d be staggered if they don’t give the Gold Cup serious consideration.

HDLG, Stage Star didn’t care about the lead angle did he?

Real Whacker has to step up a lot to put Allaho out of his comfort zone?

    Could do though

Absolutely disgraceful that BMG and Shishkin didn’t parade along the others – that is all part of the test.

Shishkin – not a racehorse any longer.

Glad to have backed Hewick EW, but it was a very poor renewal. None of the 2nd and 3rd will see out anything beyond 2m5f.

Jeez, that was a lucky saver on Hewick. I think it would have been close between Shishkin and Bravemansgame without a fall.

Great to see for Hewick & connections but I’m gutted for Shishkin. I think he had it in the bag.

Well done everyone on and well done the little hairy heeled cheap pony! Yes it wasn’t the best renewal ever but what a horse. Just proves you do need to stay to win the KG.

“I’m gutted for Shishkin. I think he had it in the bag.”

Too early to say. Hewick finishing so strongly I think he would have got up.
