    Frankels Dam passed away during birth complications

    Have just read this. I hate it when this happens; such a joyous thing turning to tragedy. Let’s hope the little one thrives and does her proud.

    Kind by name and kind by nature she was an amazing racehorse and even better broodmare and what a legacy she has left us.

    Certain that Banstead Manor will have a foster mare ready for her little Kingman foal but know from several visits there how much they adore her and how devastated this will leave them. They told us on the night Frankel was born they didn’t have to do a thing until he was born, she did it all so easily and that’s the way all her births went until now. So sad.

    In 2018 Kind gave us a half sister to Frankel who should be racing now or perhaps the decision will now be taken to keep her at the stud to continue the line.

    What a sad loss of a beautiful, talented mare. The photo of her with her latest foal is just gorgeous. She really was Kind by name and Kind by nature.
