I liked him. He’s definitely a chip of the old block, may never reach the heights of Kauto Star but will probably end up a safer conveyance than Kauto could be at times. Some of his jumping was breathtaking and he took as much as 3 lengths out of the field at 2 of his fences.
What’s even more interesting is the time of the race.
The Grade 1 chase was slow by 27.80s
The Handicap slow by 13.70s
Kauto Stone Slow by 8.6
None of the hurdle races or the bumper came close to his time so it was the best by a mile on the day.
Might just be another PN superstar in the making
